After much thought and deliberation we are sorry to announce that the envisaged plans for a Bang & Olufsen museum in central France, have had to be cancelled.

The Bang & Olufsen community has recently become extremely fragmented and, reflective of the fact that much abuse has been received by me personally from various parties - much of it stemming from people who apparently lend an air of respectability within Bang & Olufsen circles - we feel that is no longer appropriate to continue.

These past few months represent an appalling state of affairs. Following false accusations about me, homophobic statements, pornographic text and images being sent to me via the Internet, together with veiled threats from certain individuals, police advice has had to be sought.

Further to this and undertaken over the space of several months, a UK County Court action was successfully brought against BeoWorld Ltd.

All of this represents a very sad affair as it tars the very essence of the marque itself and what it represents to so many people.

To this extent I feel that the time is now ripe to disassociate myself totally from those individuals who can no longer be trusted and to exclude myself from any activities concerning this famous brand.

Anyone who donated any items for display are advised to contact me as soon as possible to arrange their return.
